RE: Incorrect Truck Model
Thanks, Con! I'm sure there are a few other little things that could be tweaked to perfection. Would you like me to find them?

*And I apologize for being annoying about things being perfect, but I am a perfectionist and I pretty much am OCD, so I just like everything to be proper and perfect, lol.*

And yet you are coding a truck game....couldn't you code something that you know about or did you just want to learn about trucks?

RE: Incorrect Truck Model
I also didn't know about trucks before playing Trukz and to this day have never ridden in or driven a truck. Programming and trucking are essentially 2 different worlds. We have you guys to give us info about trucks and to help us make decisions about the game. There is no way I could of picked 20 different trucks let alone the number we have.

We are programmers making a truck game, not truckers programming a game. It's a huge difference but I would not expect anyone I brought on for programming to know anything about trucking. I would expect them to understand the languages we use and have a good level of math understanding. We use algebra, geometry and trig.

Smile hope this clears it up for you, don't disrespect us again about this (or anything else).

I am one of the creators and the owner of TruckingSim.com I will be the main person doing the code for the game, if you have any questions please message me. Thanks for all the support everyone has given so far Big Grin

RE: Incorrect Truck Model
I actually don't want to learn anything about trucking..

I mainly code server side stuff. The only major client side coding I have done is the PM page, everything else I do is either server or database related which has nothing to do with trucking.

Jeff likes client side better - mention jQuery to him and he falls in love! Tongue
